| NGI is supporting the African Centre for Food Security and the New Partnership for Africa's Development in their efforts to finalize the Framework for African Food Security (FAFS), a continental policy framework that identifies the key priorities to address food and nutrition insecurity and provides guidelines and recommendations for addressing these issues within the context of the African agricultural growth agenda. The FAFS also outlines coordination and accountability systems for achieving food security on the continent. This work involves revising and finalizing the FAFS document in consultation with key national, regional, and international stakeholders, and supporting an expert consultation meeting in Johannesburg. |
