Richardson is a Research Scholar at the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. She currently conducts research on the impact of online tools on the scholarship of teaching and learning, a particular approach to improving teaching. She also provides guidance to faculty development projects, including those seeking to incorporate digital technology as a tool for student learning and as a way for faculty to "see" student knowledge.
